The Jacksonville Adventurer & Pathfinder Clubs are requesting your donations of food for families in need:
Do you know of families that are in need and would benefit from a little assistance during the Thanksgiving and Christmas period. Please give their information to Rafeek Edwards or Trisha Jacober.
We have made a list by last name, as to what we would like for you to bring. We urge you to start purchasing an extra bag of sugar or a few extra cans of vegetables when you buy your groceries. Listed below is the list of what we’d like for you to donate:
Church members’ last name ending in:
A through E = (1) 5lb bag of Sugar, Cranberry Sauce, Can
vegetables
F through I = (1) 5 lb bag of Flour, Can Pumpkin, Oil, Can fruit
K through N = (3) boxes/bags of Stuffing, Can Yams, Can fruit
O through S = (1) 5lb bag of Rice, Pie Crust, Can fruit
T through Z = (2) boxes of Potatoes (mashed, au gratin, etc.), Can fruit, Can vegetables
This list is just an idea and EVERYONE is welcomed to bring more than allocated by their last name. If anyone has ideas of any thing NOT listed on the list they are free to purchase that as well.
